| Educational Qualification | Candidates must have a Degree in Science, Commerce or Arts with Statistics, Mathematics or Economics as one of the subject of study in Degree course from a recognized University. The Minimum six months Diploma in Computer Application is desirable. |
Other Criteria of APSC Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
1. SC: 5 years
2. ST: 5 years
3. OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
4. PwBD: 10 years

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
