Gauhati University B.Ed Admission
Last Date: 7th July. Gauhati University has issued an official notification regarding the admission of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for the session 2024-25. As per the official notification, GU will conduct a common entrance test called GUBEDCET to select meritorious students for admission. Students who are eligible as per the notification and willing to get admission in the B.Ed course must submit their online application to participate in the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria of GU B.Ed Admission
A candidate may be allowed to appear in the GUBEDCET-2024 provided that he/she has passed the BA/ BSc/ BCom or MA/ MSc/ MCom or equivalent degree programme from a recognized Board/ University with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
Application Fee of GUBEDCET
Students have to pay Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) as an application fee to complete the online application process for the Gauhati University B.Ed Common Entrance Test, 2024.
Mode of Payment: Students need to pay the application fee through an online payment gateway using their ATM card, Internet Banking or UPI. Note that no other mode of payment is accepted.
Note: If there is any bank transaction fee then students have to pay it while paying the application fee.

B.Ed Common Entrance Test Details
A common entrance test will be conducted to select meritorious candidates for admission into the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course under Gauhati University. Below we provided some important information regarding this entrance examination.
No of Questions: 100 Questions
Total Marks: 400 Marks
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 4 Options.
Duration of Test: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
Medium of Test: The test Booklet and OMR will be in English.
Negative Marking: There will be 4 marks for the correct answer and (-1) for the wrong answer. No negative marks for unanswered questions.
Examination Centres
Candidates will be able to appear in any one of the following GUBEDCET-2024 centres and will have to indicate the same while filling out the online form. A candidate has to select any three exam centres. A candidate will be appointed in any one centre based on the feasibility of a particular centre.
